Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute (GCVI) campus master plan. |
The oldest high school in Guelph, Ontario, GCVI has rich
history and a dedication to improving their campus and community to meet the
demands of the present and future.
My design for GCVI included a sunken playing field with
raised ring track, community gardens, an outdoor amphitheater and classroom,
arboretum plan and an entryway arch which mirrored the historical arches on the
building.
Faculty, staff and students liked the design of my arched
entry point on the main corner of their school grounds and its construction is
underway.
Sketch of proposed new archway to serve as an entry point to the campus as well as a new sign board on the main intersection. To be built! |
